Handbook of Northwestern Plants by Helen M Gilkey and La Rea J Dennis, Revised edition 2001, mentions this plant on page 22.
"Thelypteris nevadensis (Baker) Clute ex C. V. Morton, Nevada marsh fern. Rhizomes slender, covered with base of old leaves; stipes half the length of the blades or less, straw-colored; leaf blades 2-7 dm. long, lanceolate in outline, the apex long acuminate, pinnate-pinnatifid to 2- pinnate, pinnae sessile; sori small, submarginal; indusia present, but minute, often ciliate and glandular. (=Dryopteris oregana C. Chr.) Stream banks and seepage areas, mostly on western slopes of the Cascades and westward.
