Please visit Scouting in displaced persons camps and contribute, and build this article as well. Surely for the bulk of the Palestinian Scout Association's history there must be Scouting for displaced persons camps. Chris 21:42, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

3RR POV violation edit

Eliscoming1234, you have never contributed anything to this article, now you come in hollering that Wiki-appropriate terminology is politically-motivated. You can take that elsewhere. Click the hyperlink for your misnomer Palestinian region-check the name of the article as it exists on Wikipedia. See where it goes? Palestine! Surprise! If it's not wrong there, it's not wrong here. Palestine in 1912 wasn't named Palestinian Region per your wishful historical revisionism, it was named Palestine. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 18:11, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fine, I am willing to keep that as long as no one changes my second edit. That edit was changing "country" from Palestine to Palestinian Territories. That is what I mean about using modern terminology, because that is the current name of the area where the Palestinian Scout Association is located. For the record, I said that you reverting my edits were politically motivated, while mine were not. Thank you for understanding. --Eliscoming1234 (talk) 23:11, 28 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Which is exactly how I left it when you first made the change. Thank you (dripping with sarcasm-you are still accusing me of POV, and again you are wrong) for reading before you revert. Watch what you accuse others of, and get used to the idea that everyone edits Wikipedia, forget the pipe dream that "no one changes my second edit"-there are no guarantees in life. But you'll get along better with people if you lead with politeness first. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 02:42, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merger edit

Girl Guides of Palestine --> Palestinian Scout Association

The GGP does no longer exist, seemingly it was an intermediate organization during the rebirth of Palestinian Scouting and Guiding. PSA became a member od WAGGGS on 18 September 2017. Since most of the article on GGP deals with a potential membership in WAGGGS this content schoul be moved here. --jergen (talk) 13:57, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Support merge-thanks Jergen for updating these, many have been really hard to confirm as WAGGGS is worse than WOSM on information sharing.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 14:20, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Currently, the news are only on facebook, but I think they will be published properly soon. The documents for the World conference are online [1], items 8 to 10 deal with membership issues; item 9 was voted today. The documents even contain some more informations on the member orgs. --jergen (talk) 14:28, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
