Easton Cowboys, Bristol edit

Does anyone know which team(s) the Easton Cowboys played against? It was probably a team not in this league. Thanks. -- Trevj (talk) 16:13, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why not look on their website, where they give details of their Palestine tour, with several relevant articles?[1] RolandR (talk) 17:31, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, and I must admit that I'd not found those. But that's because I was seeking secondary sources. This article seems to be cross-posted on this blog, but that wouldn't qualify as a reliable source. I'll s'pose they'll probably do for further info if there's no independent commentary available. Thanks. -- Trevj (talk) 20:05, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reference and bias tags edit

This article needs in-line citations for its many assertions. Biased statements like "a rich history stretching back to the early 1930s" and "Israeli occupation" need to be edited. --Fang Aili talk 18:09, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why? It's perhaps OTT to suggest "a rich history", but it shouldn't be unreasonable to accept that there were clubs playing football in Palestine in the 1930s. Likewise "Israeli occupation"; it's well documented that the Israeli occupation of the West Bank caused/causes restrictions on travel of the sort that would disrupt football in the country, let alone the destruction to property and infrastructure. 138.251.239.171 (talk) 04:33, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Founded edit

It wasn't founded in 2010. It should include previous season winners. Even if not preofessional, the league was known under this name. -Koppapa (talk) 10:11, 2 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Political Biases edit

Suggesting the West Bank Premier League has a rich history dating to the 1930s is a biased, upsupported claim, meant to have a strong political sentiment of Palestinian nationality, which is very contoversial. In the 1930s only Jewish clubs were active. As http://www.pfa.ps/ is currently down, I have to support my claims on the Hebrew and English versions of this page and articles I found on google. It is of paramount importance that wikipedia remain neutral and present facts. I ask moderators that if the current version is to be edited, all historical claims in the article (and especially in the introduction, the part of the page 95% of users read exclusively) would be verified with independent sources, and information to be would be presented in an unbiased manner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.139.115.57 (talk) 18:37, 14 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
