Geology/Mineralogy? edit

The article states that it is gold-copper ore. What actual minerals are found there? The translation of the title implies that there is turquoise, but is that a fact? What other information is there about the geological formation(s)? LadyofShalott 18:00, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I suspect that the name "Turquoise Hill" comes from the colour copper minerals turn when they oxidize. A geology/minerology section would be a great addition.--kelapstick (talk) 01:34, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Chrysocolla is likely the "turquoise." User:Fred Bauder Talk 12:37, 5 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Possible sources edit

Deposits are tourmaline-breccia and copper porphry. The environmental blurb appears to be self-referencing (refs 19 and 20) via Murdoch online press. The competition for water is potable water. The mine itself appears not to use any. The issues are employment opportunities for local herders.203.219.69.192 (talk) 06:47, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page edit

Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.Reply

Removal of non-neutral edit edit

I am Batmunkh_ot and I am an employee of Oyu Tolgoi. You can find out more about our approach to Wikipedia on my user page. I have undone a recent edit by Tusa89 because it does not appear constructive, balanced or neutral and contained numerous un-sourced opinions and factual errors, such as reference to a river which is not even in Mongolia.

If you think I have made a mistake, or you have any questions, you can contact me on my talk page. Thank you.
