Thrax's classification edit

Thrax is most definitely not scarlet fever. This is rather obvious, but just so everyone knows. Nor is he anthrax. Given that Thrax is, y'know, a virus, and both of those are bacterial infections. Nor is he avian influenza, at least not literally. Dinea 03:45, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

If he isn't anthrax then why is his name thrax?! I believe it was a mistake by screenwriters to depict he a virus instead of bacteria. Aminabzz (talk) 02:00, 24 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

I personally think he is Meningitis. --24.150.24.196 (talk) 20:16, 7 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't know what kind of virus he is, but the illness he caused could be termed hypothalamosis post infectiosa Chandagnac (talk) 21:27, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

clean-up, image request templates edit

I removed the deletion, image, and cleanup templates from the page. The Deletion tools template is sort of a weird thing to put on the page. If you want to nominate the page for deletion, see WP:AFD. I don't see what kind of image would help as the page already has a poster from the movie. As for clean-up, if you don't like it, fix it. I fact, I think I will fix it. --Transfinite 02:55, 21 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Maybe we should add something? edit

Maybe we should add a section that mentions some of the biological impossibilities or errors in the film, such as why when Osmosis 'surfs' the tear he doesn't inflate and rupture due to the difference in water content of his cell and the tear.

Reply: No, that is merely speculation. And the movie is fictitious people know that some of it is not true.

To be fair they have a point he would explode due to water intake

Character Bios edit

Should the characters get their own pages?

Maybe if the descriptions in the main article become too long. cyclosarin 13:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I think I could possibly write the character descriptions on the main article. They probably wouldn't be the greatest, but they'd be functional and could be built off of. Dinea 19:26, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Done. I would very much appreciate it if someone would look over it and clean it up if they can, since I have a rather biased view and all. Dinea 03:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sadly, they have been deleted. Superjustinbros. (talk) 20:12, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brandy running joke edit

It says that Leah was referred to as Brandy several times as a running joke. I can only think of this happening once, at the point where Ozzy goes to the police station after popping Frank's zit. Where else did this happen? 199.126.137.209 09:49, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Maybe he was referring to an in-joke between the writers and animators? Talk User:Fissionfox 08:54, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

PG-13 edit

How was this originally rated PG-13?

Many scenes were gory and much more detailed, like the fight on the eyelash Chandagnac (talk) 21:28, 12 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't that be in the article? Also, can I see it uncut? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Earthisourplanet (talkcontribs) 20:08, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I dont think you can see it uncut. Seeing how it was an animated kids film I dont think it would be very interesting anyway.Millertime246 (talk) 20:12, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Movie edit

Is this film any good?I mean generally just for watching, what is the average opinion? Talk User:Fissionfox 08:53, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but that sort of question doesn't really belong here. Dinea 18:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
The Onion recently rated it "fun for the whole family", but they were probably joking. GreenReaper (talk) 11:42, 12 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

cartoon? edit

Wasn't there a cartoon made about the movie that aired on cartoon network for a while? I clearly remember it. 72.84.21.122 (talk) 13:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

In the first paragraph in the page it even mentions the TV show, Ozzy & Drix. "A Saturday morning cartoon spinoff, Ozzy & Drix, aired on Kids WB from 2002 to 2004, and featured Osmosis Jones and his friend Drix inside a new body.", so please (Not to sound offensive), read the text properly next time.

Pop culture references edit

Please add references to "Titanic" and "Terminator". Dalka (talk) 13:22, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism edit

To the user who keeps adding things to this page that doesn't happen, please stop it. 110.174.23.183 (talk) 12:24, 15 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

What does this sentence mean? edit

This sentence, at least the end of it, doesn't make sense: "The movie opened at #7 in its first opening weekend at the U.S. box office, accumulating $5,271,248 on its opening week while earning $2,286." What does "while earning $2,286" mean in this context? I cannot make heads or tails of it.

It is located in the Box office section. PokeHomsar (talk) 12:53, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Virus or bacteria edit

Thrax is short for Anthrax, which is a bacterial disease. So why is the bad guy called a virus? Aminabzz (talk) 01:57, 24 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
