elevator research rocket edit

The term "elevator research rocket" is not widely use in the United States. Is it reasonable for readers to assume elevator means "sub-orbital"? Could we correctly link this usage to Sounding rocket? (sdsds - talk) 02:00, 26 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Diameter edit

Take a look at Terrier_Orion (especially the picture) and RIM-2_Terrier (the dimensions.) The diameter of the Orion given in this article is 0.35m, which is about 13.75 in. The diameter given for the Terrier is 13.5 in. Yet, when they are combined, the Orion's diameter is clarly only about 1/2 to 2/3 of the Terrier's. Something is fishy, but I don't know which is correct. Joe Avins (talk) 17:06, 30 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
