Although I know you didn't ask for it, I am going to do a small review of this list to accompany my larger review of the main article.

Put the infobox at the top, its just as valid here as at the main article.
Expand the lead with a brief summary of the fighting and the aftermath (and as before, be aware of tenses)
Background needs an additional paragraph covering the actual fighting and the dispositions in the aftermath.
Put † tags next to those general officers killed in the engagement.
