iOS and OPUS Audio edit

The article says (Support --> Operating Systems) that iOS 17 can handle OPUS files (natively). I did not found any source for this. I only found a source saying that Safari 17 can handle Stereo OPUS files. I created OPUS files and tried to open them using iPadOS 17.3. It did not work. Can anybody confirm that iOS can handle OPUS natively? 178.142.56.51 (talk) 10:32, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I just tried opening an .opus file on my iPhone on iOS 17.3.1 it doesn't work. 2604:4080:1178:8AE0:88B9:7CD3:DDE6:B660 (talk) 20:55, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I ended up wasting a bunch of time encoding opus files only to find out it's not actually supported yet. I think this should be removed from the article to prevent others from wasting their time. 2604:4080:1178:8AE0:88B9:7CD3:DDE6:B660 (talk) 21:03, 19 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
