Name of Article - Opium Law?

The article is about Dutch drug laws. Looks like someone put a lot of time into this, but the article title does not seem quite right. APatcher (talk) 21:04, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Title

Thanks, I did indeed put a lot of work in it, I had to translate all drugs on both lists of the Opium Law from Dutch to English, though I found it worth the effort because there wasn't an English wiki about it yet. When I have some more time to spare, I'll expand the wiki article some more.

The article is titled how it should be though, the section of the Dutch law which covers (almost) all psychotropic drugs is the Opium Wet in Dutch, which translates to Opium Law in English.--Psych0-007 (talk) 23:45, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

• Sorry for not being more specific. I didn't mean your translation was incorrect. I just wanted to address the issue of confusion when it comes to using the title "Opium Law". Several countries have such laws. I was thinking it could be changed to "Dutch Opium Law" or "Opium Law (Dutch)" or something else that would allow the researcher to be able to find this particular Dutch-specific law. Ketamine?

"Most non-psychotropic, but prescription-only drugs are covered by the Medicine Act, the most well known exception being Ketamine which is covered by the Medicine Act." So, most prescription drugs are covered by the Medicine Act, except for Ketamine, which is covered by the Medicine Act?

I'm confused. Let me restate that line in the hopes that someone can clear this up so the text can be made more clear. Prescriptions are covered by the Medicine Act, except for Ketamine, because Ketamine is covered by the Medicine Act.

Where is my logic wrong? Has incorrect information been added here? Or is the text just written in a way that is immediately confusing to me? Figure I'll ask here before I start going all Google Translate after searching for Dutch government sites. (There's no citation, so it's not a super easy thing to be solved in 5 minutes. I'm hoping that somebody's watching this page!Jtrnp (talk) 03:10, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
