possible to block the tracking? edit

More details needed on that regarding HTTP related blocking options. What exactly is URL mask for filtering? "h ttp://*.2o7.net/*" seems to be overkill... Has anyone analyzed their obfuscated (yes, bastards are hiding it) script?

-- It's generally not obfuscated, but just minimized, which is pretty standard. All projects i worked in used the 2o7.net domain to report data. I would suggest to opt-out AND block that domain.

Rigged websites edit

There are many many more, including microsoft, novell, kaspersky, etc... adobe and apple just well-known for embedding this spyware into their software products ("Welcome page" feature, which is popular for recent years, essentially a compound webpage)
