To the creators of this page: Brings on many changes. I tried to take a cleaver to this advertisment and create an article out of it. If it doesn't become an article it will be deleated. So, bite the bullet and thank the Gods and Goddesses for wiki editors who are willing to do things like this. Now, go and sin no more. Aleister Wilson (talk) 00:23, 1 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

indeed.Vinithehat (talk) 00:31, 1 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your edits work to improve NPOV and tighten references. Seems your concerns about neutrality, ad-like writing, and formatting have been addressed. Omega Institute (talk) 22:06, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Omega InstituteReply

thanks, now for the sake of neutrality please stop editing this article.Vinithehat (talk) 00:03, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good work Doctor V, the baby might live if the mother doesn't come back and smother it. Now, go and sin some more, but in private where it's more fun. Aleister Wilson (talk) 10:02, 9 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Wow, it's looking like a real Wikipedia article. I feel so proud.Vinithehat (talk) 14:24, 9 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

NYT best seller edit

who knew that there is a specific NYT bestseller list for the "paperback advice" category? Vinithehat (talk) 00:44, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

And who knew that a kind editor would take the time to go look for it. Omega, this is what Wikipedia is about, in some sense, and now you can teach it to your thousands of students who need to learn basically one thing: the thought is a single thought, and what they experience is created in their brain--so, 'Love your enemy' (or your editor) because the only place you perceive your enemy is in your brain so, to hate him {George W. Bush, for an easy example) you must hate a part of your neuron connection system. Let Sally Field tell you that. By the way, I second V's notion about Omega not editing anymore. But you can always talk to us, but bring milk and cookies. Aleister Wilson (talk) 10:02, 9 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

References edit

Strikes me that the numbers for the endnotes are out of numeric order, I'd edit it myself but as a former staff person I'd rather just let someone else be aware to keep it NPOV clean. Thehatinthecat (talk) 14:18, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

To Wiki editors: I'm proposing a few factual edits to this page. As I have a current work affiliation with Omega, I leave it to the community to implement these changes, or not: 1) Unlink "ecumenical" in first paragraph. The "ecumenical" Wiki page is about Christian unity, not unity of all religions as was taught by Vilayat Inayat Khan. See Vilayat Inayat Khan's Wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vilayat_Inayat_Khan 2) Footnote 15 is a dead link. Recommend deleting. 3) Regarding the Omega Center for Sustainable Living: It was an initial design concept to use the treated water in part for garden irrigation. However, it is not part of the final design. See footnote 14, which accurately notes that Omega recycles “wastewater into clean water that then restores an aquifer.” 4) The Omega Center for Sustainable Living has received LEED platinum certification as well as “Living” status from the Living Building Challenge. It was also selected for the American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment (AIA/COTE) Top Ten Green Projects. Advertising on Wikipedia? edit

Someone completely unconnected with Omega should contribute to this "article", until then it should be marked as "Advertising". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulhummerman (talkcontribs) 12:56, 12 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
