Hello! Looks like this talk page is quiet for now but I will add some taxonomical notes. I am issuing a redirect in the old Cyclodina page to redirect to Oligosoma because it will get too redundant having pages for obsolete taxon. Added figured but yet-to-be-named species from Jewell edit

The revised edition of Jewell (2011) is the best reference to be using for the New Zealand skinks, and he lists several species (with photographs) that had yet to be scientifically described as of 2011. They're likely to be referred to for some years while we wait for formal descriptions, so it seems reasonable to at least put them on the list as red links while we wait. I've also deleted the links to Te Papa collection items, which are already present, under External Links, on the page of each species concerned. Having them as citations here does not serve the ordinary purpose of a citation, which would be to point to the first description for example. An editor with good intent has gone through and added these Te Papa links, but they're really not needed I think. Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 03:36, 4 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
