If someone is working on this, further possible references passed to me by Seattle historian Rob Ketcherside:

April 28 1946 Seattle Times says it was 65 ft wide.

"Here's a great account from the 1895 book Siwash, written by Seattle Times editor J A Costello. Page 43 is a chapter on it. Costello puts the structure at 1000 feet by 60 feet.
