Tracklisting

Please stop removing the tracklisting of the album. It was confirmed already. Madz67 11:39 January 25, 2010 (UTC)

If it's confirmed, then can you provide a source? I tried looking everywhere, but there is no legitimate news source, and the music sites don't have tracklistings up yet. SKS (talk) 03:40, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

I'm holding a copy of the first version of Oh! in my hand (not the repackage) that I purchased in late 2014 (Korean import purchased in Los Angeles). It has 12 tracks, not 11. If you insert "카라멜 커피 (Talk to Me)" as track 7 in the article's current listing, shifting the current tracks 7-11 down one to 8-12, you get what I have. Thanks for bringing this up. "Talk to Me" is indeed missing from the track list. (It even charted on Gaon Chart.) iTunes only has 11 tracks for whatever reason. I'm surprised no one has noticed this before! I will add the missing track. Random86 (talk) 05:02, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

Cool. Thanks for fixing it! I only noticed because I copied the track listing from the article while writing a script to rip the CD to a flash drive for my car. Kesha

I don't read Korean to be able to see what that cited article says about it, but I've seen corroborating reports on various sites that Kesha was offered the song and her producer/label/herself decided not to buy it, and SM Entertainment picked it up for SNSD. The version recorded by Kesha was a guided demo, and was never released - it was leaked from the studio and wound up on Youtube and other places. If someone would can read that source article would be so kind, check and make sure that isn't what it also says about it and edit accordingly. Desirsar (talk • contribs) 21:09, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Proposed merge with Show! Show! Show!

Per WP:SONGS, most songs do not merit an article and "A separate article is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article". Repackage Singles

Since this has been contested on many K-Pop album wiki pages, we should discuss whether K-Pop Repackaged albums are the same as reissues as they relate to Template:Infobox album#Template:Singles. The guide states that Singles should be omitted from Infobox Album if they're Bonus Tracks as part of a reissued album. However, I would argue that K-Pop album repackages aren't reissues, but rather a new album that includes all the tracks from the original. Under that framework, singles from repackaged K-Pop albums should be included in Infobox Album. 41matt14 (talk) 19:40, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

Exactly. Furthermore, the content removals and subsequent re-reverts were evidently based on incomplete reading and/or misunderstanding of said template guideline. It even specifically states that, promotional activity may continue for a long time, and songs from the album may be released as singles a year or more after the album's initial release. In addition to what you elucidated, repackages are obviously extended promotions. The title in question was first released on the repackaged album, thus the guidances apply to that distinct album but not any earlier released album. Even if we'd understand a repackage as a compilation, a song that is released as a single to promote the release of the compilation album is said to be included as a single for the compilation album. The former revision of the content, that had been left untouched since October 2018, reflected a comprehensive and reasonable understanding of the relevant guidelines.
