Justification for 'importance' edit

I am an experienced Wikipedian, but have never spent much time on assessments (quality, importance). So as I am about to do a large number of manual changes, I am going to paste this justification in each one.

I am going through all the executive department articles and assessing them all as 'mid' importance, because I believe they clearly fall into the criteria: "The article covers a topic that has a strong but not vital role in the study of Wisconsin." It is a good idea to know what the Wisconsin DNR is, for example (because it may make national news, or might be the point of contact for a scientists biology research, etc), but not "vital."

This article may be an exception compared to DOT or DNR, but I still believe it has strong bearing on general knowledge of the state. LaurentianShield (talk) 01:33, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
