Orphaned references in Oday Dabbagh

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Oday Dabbagh's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Birthplace edit warring

This page has, like many on Wikipedia, become a target for nationalist edit warring rather than actually describing a person.

Sources say Dabbagh was born in the Old City of Jerusalem [1]. The Old City is in East Jerusalem. East Jerusalem is recognised in international law as part of the Palestinian territories even if under de facto Israeli rule.

What should the infobox say? Here are some options

• Jerusalem
  • This is the simplest way to do things, just as the Jerusalem page does not give the city a nationality

• East Jerusalem
  • This links specifically to the page about this disputed area.

• East Jerusalem, West Bank
• East Jerusalem, State of Palestine
  • The latter may encourage edit warriors who argue that Palestine does not exert de facto power over the territory

In any case, whether today, or when Dabbagh was born in 1998, the international community did not regard him as being born in Israel. If somebody was born in Melitopol today, we would not say undeniably that they were born in Russia, though we could say they were born under Russian occupation.
