Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it was a noteworthy progressive metal band that through the years achieved cult status with its odd music and influenced other artists, etc. --Malconfort (talk) 02:16, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

I also would like to contest the deletion. I see two reliable sources and evidence that the group released albums through established record labels, thus it seems to pass WP:BAND criteria. Speedy deletion seems inappropriate here with such notability claims, take it to AFD instead. Fezmar9 (talk) 05:39, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
