Speed/Fuel Request edit

can anyone provide a source for the ship's top speed and fuel consumption? Thanks.

Largest container ship edit

OOCL Shenzhen was at delivery in May 2003 the largest Containership in the world?...sorry but that's wrong. The Axel Maersk delivered March 2003 was greater in Loa, tdw, TEU. see article Containerschiff in the german wikipedia. July, 18th.2005 DEF

The Axel Maersk was, in fact, longer than the OOCL Shenzhen. However, officially, the OOCL Shenzhen carried 8,063 TEUs, whilst the Axel Maersk carried only 6,600 TEUs - a 1,463 difference. Container ships are measured by their capacity to carry containers. This is why the Guiness Book of World Records recognized the OOCL Shenzhen as the largest container ship ever built on its delivery in 2003. GCM 07:30, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

OOCL and OCCL ? edit

Why are some of the ships called OCCL and not OOCL? Nostrada (talk) 23:18, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

This was a typographic error, see OOCL vessel list on OOCL webpage. -- Gerd Fahrenhorst (talk) 18:14, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

References edit

I've added several reference links, are they meet the requirements to remove the Unreferenced tag?Nhan 15:37, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

OOCL vested companies edit

For example, shipping IT system/solution provider - CargoSmart - is owned by OOCL. Should such "(in)vested" and/or wholly-owned subsidiaries be listed? CargoSmart mainly provide sailing schedules search and schedule reliability analysis for NVOs, LSPs and BCOs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fishandchips (talkcontribs) 02:52, 13 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
