Is this some kind of joke? edit

I just ran a Google search and ALL of the hits are either based on this article or are random mentions in various gamer forums. Is this a real kind of axe or is this article a practical joke? This article needs to be supported by references to books about axes, or else it should be deleted. --Coolcaesar 20:12, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes this is a real axe. However, this axe was actually called kilonda by the Songye and the Nsapo, not "Nzappa Zap". "Nzappa Zap" seems to be a mistranslation of Nsapo Nsapo, which is a cultural group rather than the name of an axe. The name "Nzappa Zap" seem to originate from a show called "Forged In Fire" on the American History Channel. This article should be moved with the name of the axe changed and the references to the American History Channel removed and replaced with better sources. On another note, there is an article on German Wikipedia that can be used as a model and is much more accurate https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilonda --OmarTheKingFr (talk) 15:17, 3 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hmm...I nvr did look into how true it was, though google images showed random axes...more modern thoughUser:Serprex 17:45, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes it is a real type of axe, however because its an english translation of the african name there are a few different ways of spelling it.
