Major Revisions

I am going to make this article more comprehensive and organized. I will edit the current page by reducing the length of the lead section to include only the necessary background information for the topic. I will integrate the information that is already on the page into my new sections and subsections. I will include a brief outline of my summary following my post but in short, I will discuss the historical framework of the nutrition transition, discuss current patterns and how they relate to industrialized and developing countries, remark on the economic and biopsychosocial factors causing the transition, point out the health outcomes, and finally lay out policy initiatives to mitigate the negative effects of the transition. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Examples of Policies

It would be worthwhile to offer examples of policy implementations that are intended to combat the nutrition transition (i.e Soda Tax, Food Labeling restrictions, School Food policies). I'm not sure if it would be best to add another subheading under "Implications for policy" or "Case studies." Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Double burden of nutrition

I couldn't find this elsewhere on wikipedia so I've added it as a section here. It's different from the 'dual burden' (which is NCD and CD). While the double burden on nutrition is about malnutrition and obesity in the same population.

I've linked to it from the top of Double burden, so if you get rid of it or change it, that link will need fixing.

Evaluation: I think this article is well written, especially in the historical framework and economic-related aspects. However,I think the lead could have more examples or maybe a picture as an example. --Mmemorablemoments (talk) 01:56, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
