Project name? edit

Is it Nouveau or nouveau? They don't seem to know themselves, pretty funny. I sure hope that doesn't reflect the quality of the rest of the project... --88.148.208.54 (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The project is fine. I use the drivers and they perform incredibly well for both 2D and 3D. Stilroc (talk) 07:11, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

nouveau on the Tegra is not "100% open-source" edit

nouveau on the Tegra needs external firmware to work, and that firmware is non-free: https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/WHENCE?id=a4bbc8112cc04fcc0e0861e8b72197b6cb83ab83#n3126 -- 74.32.245.177 (talk) 18:02, 14 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Nvidia FALCON (FAst Logic CONtroller) edit

It would be nice to gather some more information on the old Nvidia FALCON (FAst Logic CONtroller) and maybe even the RISC-V based successor. User:ScotXWt@lk 14:14, 7 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Bugs edit

@K4rolB: you sure about your removal of the "Bugs" section....? Ok maybe there was too much info on how to fix the bug, but this is a famous bug affecting many systems; so how about keeping the section but we can remove all the info about how to fix the bug which is more "guide" stuff (WP:NOTGUIDE) ? -- Blue.painting (talk) 12:54, 29 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

TBH, I see more problems with this section. The only reference was ask Ubuntu, which is user generated and therefore, not a valid source. If the bug is well-known and current then I will agree to keep the section with guide stuff removed as long as some reliable source is found.
Also, I'm sorry I removed the whole section as soon as you improved it. I just think that, as it is right now, it doesn't belong to Wikipedia. – K4rolB (talk) 14:53, 29 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
Yes I mean you're right; I see your point... Thanks for the reply. And perhaps saying it's a major bug is not accurate in the end I guess tbh :) Cheers, --Blue.painting (talk) 20:17, 3 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
