Other ethnic histories in Norwood (besides Irish) edit

Right now the Irish American section dominates the Norwood article's history. This is unfair given that the neighborhood's population was majority Hispanic even at the time (1970s to 1990s) that the Irish population was at its peak. Puerto Rican stories (and increasingly Dominican, Ecuadorean, and Mexican stories) should play a bigger role, as should Filipina/os, West Indians, etc. I may research and write about this if I move back to the neighborhood. Consider this a call for research though. Satyadasa (talk) 14:32, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're certainly right, but this just reflects the interests, knowledge and backgrounds of those who have taken time to edit the page. What it needs is more on Norwood's other communities, not less on the Irish.FrFintonStack (talk) 02:18, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sarcastic Comment edit

I don't know who wrote this article, but I doubt that NORAID was able to raise enough money over the years to pay for Sinn Fein's postage stamps let alone fund a paramilitary. DBE — Preceding undated comment added 01:43, 8 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Social Problems edit

I copied this edit from the article and pasted it here

"A resident's comment: Many residents of Norwood would take issue with the above description. While the neighborhood may contain a lower income demographic than in decades past, it remains an overall safe and highly livable area." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.119.129.16 (talk) 17:32, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I live in Norwood and feel it is safe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.2.70.91 (talk) 16:57, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
