– This may be too soon to be holding this discussion, since the stations are still technically in the planning stages for now. However, it may be beneficial to establish a precedence for what to do with the articles regardless of whenever it is done. Nevertheless, the first two articles are a currently very confusing and absurd affair, since both stations will be both part of the MBTA Commuter Rail system anyhow. Per precedence with the Bellingham Square/Chelsea stations situation, I feel that this is a simple, straightforward, and logical decision. As for the third article, it may make sense to do this for future proofing as well. Question: is Phase II of South Coast Rail actually funded? Mackensen (talk) 13:37, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose: It's just too soon for this. Phase II is not funded, and even the most optimistic plans don't call for it to open until the end of the decade. The names from the environmental documentation should be treated as placeholder names. (There's precedent for that: just among South Coast Rail stations, the name for Church Street changed twice, New Bedford once, and East Taunton flip-flopped.) Meanwhile, "North Easton station" has over a century of being attached to that station. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 23:24, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
