Borat edit
The article currently says This technique has recently been revived with considerable success (with no apparent credit to Garry McDonald) by the British comic Sasha Baron Cohen with his characters Ali G and Borat.. There was similar text in breaching experiment.
I've never heard of comics needing to give footnotes for previous work in the same style, nor is it clear to me that Baron Cohen is directly inspired by or aware of Norman Gunston. Why is this text here? By all means mention that Baron Cohen uses this technique but it currently seems like some Australian contributor has a chip on their shoulder... - When Ali G first went to air, my immediate reaction was that I'd seen the interview technique 25 years earlier on the Norman Gunston show. Perhaps the other contributor felt the same? There is almost nothing new in comedy and many comedians seem to borrow material from a previous generation, either intentionally or otherwise.--TrogWoolley 19:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

with Frank Zappa edit
in addition to having Zappa as a guest on the show, as is mentioned in the article, Gunston actually appeared in concert with Zappa, performing a harmonica solo on "The Torture Never Stops". This was released on the live Zappa album FZ:OZ, which was recorded in Syndey, AUS in early 1976. The Norman Gunston Show (pilot edition) was not aired by the ABC, but screened as part of thecomedychannel repeat package. The guest list is

Norman himself sings "I Who Have Nothing" and is joined by Pam Gibbons for "To Jackson".
