Talk:Norgate shopping centre

First shopping mall edit

The lead in to this List contradicts other articles or is ambiguous. The Norgate shopping centre in Montreal is not Canada's first shopping mall. Rather the Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver, BC officially holds that distinction. While Norgate opened one year before Park Royal did, Norgate is a strip mall while Park Royal is a covered roof mall, in the traditional mall sense. Thus, I believe the lead should be changed accordingly. If no one has any objections of the sort, I will ammend it shortly. Luke! 22:27, 6 February 2007 (UTC). I object. It is the first shopping mall, it is a year older than the Park Royal. A strip mall is still a shopping mall. 132.205.44.134 02:16, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Assessment edit

I have assessed this as a Stub, as it only provides the basic information on the topic (most of which is unreferenced), and of low importance, as it is a highly specific topic within Canada. Cheers, CP 05:45, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
