Huh? edit

"No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young) is the only (new) song recorded by the British rock band Queen after the death of Freddie Mercury." What does the "(new)" mean? is it considered "new" Billvoltage 02:01, 17 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

New = written and recorded after Mercury's death. Not only was it the first time the public heard the song, but it wasn't pulled out of a vault somewhere. It was new. (Too bad they didn't do more of this stuff - an album full of '39s, I'm In Love With My Cars, etc would have been fine by me! Better than nostalgia any day. :) ) --kingboyk 10:34, 8 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Trouble edit

I'm having a little trouble with the image... could some one help me out? Mr Bisciut 12:33, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's Icarus who, in Greek legend, built a pair of wings with feathers held on with wax. This melted when he flew close to the sun, and he fell to his death. He is alluded too in the lyric "they're only flying too close to the sun". boffy_b

Musical edit

In the "Other Versions" section, it refers to this song appearing in a musical. What musical is this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.172.52.99 (talk) 04:17, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Diana? edit

The article suggests that the impetus for the song was the death of Diana. However, it also states it was recorded in August 1997. Since Diana died on 31 August 1997, they must have moved pretty dammed quickly? The JPStalk to me 19:05, 20 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

hang on - this actually got released as a UK single? edit

Remember hearing it on the radio, being specially announced as a new song from Queen (probably Virgin radio), then reading the release had been cancelled. It disappeared off the radio pretty quickly and iirc Record Collector mentioned it only being available as promo cds. Maybe it just got delayed in the UK - all I know is I heard it the once, wanted to buy it at the time and it never reached my local music shops. 109.224.137.121 (talk) 02:59, 1 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
