Is it:

NO₂ + 4 NAD(P)H + 4 H⁺ -> NH₄ + 4 NAD(P)⁺ + 2 H₂0

The article covers both enzymes that reduce nitrite to nitric oxide as well as those that reduce nitrite to ammonia. As these are quite distinct reactions with distinct biological roles (and each with further subcategorizations of enzymes and roles), I think they should be split into two separate articles with a nitrite reductase disambiguation page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.137.20.103 (talk) 19:46, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
