Why is there a picture of the Nikon Coolpix 3200, but no article about it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gordeonbleu (talkcontribs)

2000? 2500? edit

Where do my own Coolpix 2000 and its slightly more upmarket brother the Coolpix 2500 fit in? They're not mentioned at all! I know they're discontinued, but so's the 5100 and that gets a mention. Besides, this is a description of the Coolpix range, not a catalogue of current models. Loganberry (Talk) 12:16, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm being bold and adding mention of the 2000 and 2500, since I know they exist - and I own a 2000! Loganberry (Talk) 21:37, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

4800 discontinued?? edit

I don't think the 4800 was discontinued, I think they're still available. I changed this in the article, if I'm wrong, please revert that edit.

It came out in 2004...I picked one up at Sears for a discount price of $100. Ritz is alos clearing them out as well. I don't know if it's an official discontinuation or not. Hbdragon88 04:14, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Tech forum edit

Wikipedia isn't a discussion forum for technical problems of cheap cameras, but can the article point the way to sites where I could ask why my 2200 doesn't zoom? Jim.henderson 00:40, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

USB plug edit

I've been told the Micro-B plug on most Coolpixes is non standard, that is won't accept any but Nikon's USB cable. Is there a listing which tells which ones do accept a standard cable? 71.247.65.93 05:36, 8 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reorganise? edit

Maybe the product list should be reorganised as a table, because it is getting a little long. Maybe it could be similar to the one on the Canon IXUS page, with technical data for the cameras. Black Sabre (talk) 12:12, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Screen Units... edit

Would it be worthwhile having screen sizes in just inches or should metric measurements be included? As most, if not all screen sizes are provided in inches. Black Sabre (talk) 12:20, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tabulate Lists edit

Would anyone be opposed to having the lists in this article converted to a table? Because it's getting a little messy. The tables would be similar, but not identical to the ones at the Canon Digital IXUS article [SCΛRECROW]CrossCom 2.0 05:19, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Can someone please keep an eye on Coolpix 2100 edit

Can someone please watch Coolpix 2100. It was created earlier today as a one-liner with no content - certainly not enough to warrant being a standalone article - by a new editor. This editor then continually reverted my change to make it a redirect to this article. Now an IP editor is doing the same. Rather than get in trouble for 3RR I would appreciate someone here taking it on - unless of course you think that the single sentence does merit it being an article rather than a redirect! --Biker Biker (talk) 12:22, 28 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Coolpix L22 resolution edit

Coolpix L22 resolution is 4000x3000, not 3264x2448 (correct for L21) as shown in the chart. (I have an L22 here in my hands.) I'll get the publishing info for the user manual and update this comment with that.

For Coolpix L22, there is also a resolution above the default 4000x3000 resolution. It's listed with a star following, like 4000x3000* Does anyone know if that's RAW? User documentation was little help, other than saying it was 4:1 compressed instead of 8:1.

Ah, yes. You are correct, thanks for spotting that error. I am not sure what the res followed by a star means.SCΛRECROW 05:48, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
That’s probably JPEG with different compression/quality settings. --AVRS (talk) 12:14, 11 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

P7100 edit

Hello.

There isn't the Coolpix P7100 in this page. --ComputerHotline (talk) 17:29, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mention the E and other series edit

Great. You don't mention E700, E800, E880, E900... until a tiny line at the end,

Well I added "Coolpix 5xxx ... Note some cameras are numbered 5xxx on front, and E5xxx on bottom."

Maybe it affects more! Jidanni (talk) 04:28, 11 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

P310 superseded by P330 edit

The Coolpix P330 replaced the P310 in March 2013. Changes include a larger, lower resolution sensor and built-in GPS. Perhaps someone might like to update this page accordingly. Robbiemorrison (talk) 23:07, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Missing Cameras edit

The L 29 P 340 P600 S 02 S 9700 Are not on the page — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.114.199.248 (talk) 09:04, 24 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Neither is the S3600. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 18:22, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

P5100 CCD Sensor edit

Article states that P5100 has CMOS sensor. Nikon website says it's a CCD sensor. http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Product-Archive/Compact-Digital-Cameras/COOLPIX-P5100.html
