The quote at the end of this article edit

The quote at the end of this article, despite being footnoted to a 2001 book, misdirects the reader to Desmaretz rather than to the man who probably said this to Louis XIV, Louis de Pontchartrain. During his time as Controller General of Finances from 1689 to 1699, Pontchartrain launched a major effort to create and sell offices. Desmarets had to stop the effort to sell useless offices because so many were not selling. I have seen the same quote attributed to Pontchartrain elsewhere. Thus, I have removed it from this bio.

How do we change the title? The man spelled his name Desmaretz. Later historians changed the spelling to Desmarets, despite the fact that there are still people in France who spell their name Desmaretz. Ditto for his son who also signed his name Desmaretz.
