(Non-admin closure) The result of the move request was: Done.Dipankan ^{In the woods?} 16:07, 15 January 2012 (UTC) Tuffy → Nibbles (Tom and Jerry) – This character's name is "Nibbles" in the original Tom and Jerry threatrical cartoon shorts, with the 1957 short Feedin' the Kiddie appearing to be an exception according to this article. This article says that the character originally appeared under the name of Tuffy in Tom and Jerry comics. However, the whole Tom and Jerry franchise originated in the theatrical shorts and I doubt if the comics are well-known today. For this reason I suggest that the article be moved to Nibbles (Tom and Jerry) (the parenthetical disambiguation part open to change to a better choice if there is one) since the cartoons seem to be the primary media when it comes to Tom and Jerry and this character has been usually called Nibbles in them, thus Nibbles may be the common name.

Note that this article has an {{Unreferenced}} tag, so at least some the information given in it in the "Origin and development" section could be inaccurate.

Nibbles and diapers

Tuffy (Nibbles) has always, from his first appearance, been wearing diapers, with rare exceptions no matter how big or small he´s been portrayed in size or in age. I don´t see the necessity for it to be argued on his wiki page. If something must be written about it on his page, i think it should be more of an acknowledgement that he wears them, rather than strange surprised questioning arguments. Arguments and questions about it should take place here, in his talk-page. In the vast majority of his appearances, and his first even, he is obviously NOT a baby, so that is not his reason to wear them. And that is why i removed that statement. None of us knows why he´s wearing diapers so none of us should make up a reson in the article either. I am not sure if the note about it in "Robin Hoodwinked" should be removed too. I think so, but i won´t remove that without some agreement since i am no expert in english and don´t want to make his page worse by trying to rephrase the area. I won´t mind if someone else edit it out of course.
