Talk:Newsworld International

What a damn shame. NWI is no longer with us. American greed wins again.

I agree, personally I've been requesting that DirecTV carry/add the CBC Newsworld channel to their lineup. I figure if enough people complain or request for the channel every so often, perhaps they-- will approach the CBC to carry the CBC Newsworld channel. I def. will miss the programming in the interim though. P.S. I noticed one can find ITV on the LinkTV channel. I haven't found a spot for the mostly Asian news broadcasts as yet though. CaribDigita

Sprint is looking at ADDING the CBC on their cell phones. edit

Just a heads up. I was on the phone with an agent at Sprint PowerVision department and they said they've been getting a few inquiries on adding the CBCNews channel to their line up. So In point and in fact the CBC might soon be available to Sprint phone customers in the United States with the Powervision data access pack on their multimedia phones. Specifically they're looking at the feasibility of adding it. CaribDigita 23:34, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Al Gore edit

I found NWI very informative with views you cannot get from the infotainment news. Not only views but flat out facts that took months to reach US infotainment channels if ever. That thing Current that replaced it is total garbage.
