Newgate (Company) page has been flagged as having UPE. COI has now been declared. Request removal of undisclosed paid editing tag. I'd like to apologise for my ignorance on COI and for incorrectly performing edits on a page I have a connection with, and to thank Dom from Paris and Essayist1 for their help in drawing the correct procedures to my attention. COI has now been declared on NG808 user page so I would like to request the removal of the UPE notice. If there are any further actions I need to take before this can happen I would be grateful for the Wikipedia community's further guidance. If any previous edits made to Newgate (Company) by NG808 user page need to be undone in order for the removal of the UPE tag can I also request that this is actioned please - edits related to a change in Newgate (Company) website URL, a change in Newgate (Company) logo, and addition of the manufacture of additional products by Newgate (Company) alongside supporting sources. Since they placed the template, they are in the best position to know whether or not the issues which caused its placement have been corrected. You may contact them by placing a new message on their talk page. In the unlikely event that you do not hear back from them after a reasonable amount of time, please reopen this request by altering the
{{request edit}}template's answer parameter to read from|ans=yesto|ans=no. - The other elements of your request are not actionable because they are not described in detail here on the talk page.[1]

Instructions for Submitters: Describe the requested changes in detail. This includes the exact proposed wording of the new material, the exact proposed location for it, and an explicit description of any wording to be removed, including removal for any substitution.

Thanks for your reply Spintendo. I first contacted Dom from Paris who assigned the UPE template a month ago with the request, but he has been 'wikibonked' for all of this time with no estimation of when he'll return to editing. Would a month's wait for a response be considered a reasonable length of time to wait for a reply? If so am I now OK to ask another Wikipedia editor to remove the UPE template instead? I've adjusted the requests parameter to |ans=no as you suggested in the hope someone else may be able to help. Thank you. NG808 (talk) 14:18, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
