Was this actually part of Route 46? edit

The definition of Route 46 says that it followed "Old Folks picnic ground road" into Watkins. I can't figure out what that is, but then it says that it went south on Route 12 (NY 14) to Route 45 (NY 414). If NY 329 were part of Route 46, it would have to go north on Route 12. This could be an error in the law, or it could be that Route 46 followed NY 409 or County Line Road. Does anyone know exactly what happened to these early routes, and whether the later ones were anything more than just proposals? --NE2 22:56, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

NY 329 was indeed part of Route 46. According to the DOT quadrangles, its SH number is 5557. According to the 1920 report from the New York highway commissioner, SH 5557 was part of Route 46. – TMF 04:49, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
