I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. GA Sweeps Review: Delisted

In order to uphold the quality of Wikipedia:Good articles, all articles listed as Good articles are being reviewed against the requirements of the GA criteria as part of the GA project quality task force. I am specifically going over all of the "World History-Americas" articles. Unfortunately, as of February 25, 2008, this article fails to satisfy the criteria. While reviewing the articles, I made several corrections. The article was passed as a GA back in 2006 without a review, and since then, the criteria have changed significantly. The article currently lacks inline citations for multiple statistics that should have them. If you can find sources online, feel free to include those, although book sources are always great. The following are several issues that should be addressed before renominating the article at WP:GAN:

Needs inline citations:

1. "Standard Oil had controlled nearly 90% of refined oil flows into the United States, having a near complete monopoly upon it."
2. "In addition, New Jersey became a leading chemical producer worldwide after discovering German secrets."
3. "New Jersey was also the first state in the United States to ratify Prohibition, which restricted the purchasing and selling of alcohol."
4. "By 1933, one-tenth of the population were dependent upon the Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal."
5. "Listeners were told that a "huge, flaming object, believed to be a meteorite, fell on a farm in the neighborhood of Grover’s Mill, New Jersey, twenty-two miles from Trenton."" Quotes need inline citations directly after the statement.
6. "The baby was later found dead."
7. "He was tried in Flemington, New Jersey in what was known as the "Trial of the Century", and was convicted."
8. "The mystery novel Murder on the Oriental Express may have been based upon this kidnapping, with events paralleling many of the Lindbergh kidnapping." Needs a source, or may be considered original research.
9. "Questions and controversy surround the accident to this day: theories for the sudden burst of flames include sabotage against the German Nazis, static buildup, and flammable fabric."
10. "A German U-boat (U-869) was sunk off the coast of New Jersey in 1945."
11. "The new State Constitution also returned the right of suffrage to females and blacks."
12. "Six African American defendants were convicted by an all-white jury and sentenced to death for the murder of an elderly white shopkeeper based on coerced confessions."
13. "71 stores were damaged and 46 people were injured."
14. "However, the meeting helped improve the strained relationships between the Soviet Union and the US."
15. "24 people died in the riots, and nearly 1,600 were arrested. The riots are often cited as a major factor in the decline of Newark and its neighboring communities, as many residents fled to the suburbs following the riots."

Other issues:

1. The lead needs to be expanded to several paragraphs to better summarize the article, making sure that all of the sections of information are touched on.
2. "Several Allied ships were sunken off of the coast of New Jersey." This sentence should be rewritten/expanded on to specify its significance.
3. Is there any information that can be included about events that occurred in the 1980s?
4. If possible see if there are any related external links that could be added that relate to the topic.

For these reasons, the article has been delisted from WP:GA. However, if improvements are made bringing the article up to standards, the article may be nominated at WP:GAN.
