Fair use rationale for Image:Nevada Smith DVD cover.jpg edit

Image:Nevada Smith DVD cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:04, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unsigned speculation, removed from article edit

If the young Max became a character in the carpetbaggers the lets assume that the scenario of the Nevada Smith movie took place sometime in the 1840s. Where did the the boat with the multi cylinder intenal combustion engine come from in louisisanna tho deliver him to the state prison farm. The carpetbaggers were an outgrowth of the civil war, clearly prior to the invention of the engine that was used in the movie, on the boat that was used in the movie taking place during the goldrush in california 1848 -1855. That type engine was not invented till 1868. From User:Joergsattler 10 March 2015. Woodlot (talk) 14:01, 12 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

It isn't a combustion engine, it's fast running steam machine like that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXluVzRqH04 You can see the smoke from the Chimey in the movie. And "The carpetbaggers" is set in the Hollywood Movie Business, not at the end of the Civil war. So it's al right.

"Fitch, realizing 'Smith' is Sand, grabs his share and flees."... no, not so. He was grabbing his share... then realizes 'Smith' is Sand... and lets his share go, just to jump on his horse and flee. --- Could some native speaker adjust this?
