Spinal evaluation programs are US specific edit

Shouldn't the links be to objective evaluations of posture instead of particular commercial products, as well as reference to "is warranted" -- by whom.

Posture assessment has also become quite popular in many practical environments like the personal training and sports conditioning settings. The need for reliable methods of posture assessment as a screening tool is warranted. Current available programs such as those through the National Posture Institute (NPI) and Posture Print are recommended for the practical setting but cost close to $1000 and may not be feasible for all practitioners. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Satsuke (talkcontribs) 15:44, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

The current text discussing the National Posture Institute makes no sense. The text says it is "clearly a profiteering scam by individuals not at all concerned with human well-being" but "clearly" is subjective, and it is not clear to me that a program is a profiteering scam simply because it is very expensive. I don't think there is a basis for inferring that the owners don't care about well-being. If there is such a basis, it requires citation. If it is a scam, the sentence is contradictory, because the text says the programs are recommended for the practical setting, when a scam should probably not be recommended. That passage clearly does not belong in Wikipedia as written, and I have removed it. A better account of these issues would be welcome. Looie496 (talk) 16:31, 10 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
