Misinterpretation edit

I believe the song is very poorly interpreted and very poorly written in the body of this article. It says it "tells of a situation where love was reigning but a crusade was going to begin" but in actuality the lyrics are written as:

"Oh no, here it comes again Can't remember when we came so close to love before Hold on, good things never last Nothing's in the past, it always seems to come again Again and again and again ooh again oh"

It is not saying that love is reigning at all, rather that they have come very close to it. It then goes on to say that good things never last, referring to peacetime, or the time of love, and that nothings is in the past, meaning what they have already defeated in the past is not defeated permenantly. The next verse starts by telling people to "cry out to legions of the brave, time again to save us from the jackals of the street". The legions of the brave would refer to a volunteer army of brave and willing men, who's reoccurring role to save the people from the 'jackals of the street'. The jackal is an animal prevalent throughout the middle-east, north africa, and the balkans. Known in mythology as insidious scavengers, as well as a behavior of leading lions to their prey. "Ride out protectors of the realm" would refer to knights, the leaders of this volunteer army. This is actually a call out to crusade to push back the jackels, who are settled in the balkens, north africa, and the middle-east, and who lead the lions to their 'prey'. Jihadis refer to themselves are the 'Lions of Islam'. The first verse is referring to the constant encroachment of Islam disrupting the peace. The term Neon Knight, unless meaning a chemical knight, could refer to the Greek origin meaning 'new one'. This could be a call for a crusade of new modern knights. I may do some more research and rewrite the article when I find the time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.211.103 (talk) 00:21, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
