Is this article about the city or the taluk? edit

@Deepak birva: Is this article about the city or the taluk named Nelliyadi? The first sentence says it's about the city but, in that case, the article should be about the city, and the sections listing sights and villages in the taluk shouldn't be here. If it's about the taluk, then it should say so up front and not give details specific to the city.

If you have enough information about both the city and the taluk, then you should make a separate article for the taluk, Nelliyadi (taluk) and let this one be about the city.

(By the way, if "Nelliyadi", with "iy", is really a misspelling, and "Nellyadi" is definitely the only correct spelling, then the article needs to be moved. But, whatever the title is, that's the spelling that should be in the body of the article.)

Let me know if you have any questions or need help in sorting this out. Largoplazo (talk) 15:31, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wait a minute. The article about the Dakshina Kannada district says "The district is divided into five talukas: Mangalore, Bantwal, Puttur, Sullia, and Belthangady." If that's correct, then there is no "Nellyadi taluk". That would explain why, before you revised this article, it said that Nelliyadi belongs to the Puttur taluk. Can you please clarify the situation? Largoplazo (talk) 15:36, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
