Talk:Naughty but Nice (1927 film)

Latest comment: 2 years ago by Beyond My Ken in topic Requested move 20 October 2021

Title edit

I have restored the title of the film to "Naughty But Nice" from "Naughty but Nice", since the former is the title as listed by TCM, IMDB and AMG, as well as The New York Times, AFI Film Catalog, Guide to the Silent Years of American Cinema, The Complete Index to Literary Sources in Film, and The Film Daily Year Book of Motion Pictures.

The title of the film, as given to it by the filmmakers, overrides Wikipedia's Manual of Style, which is an editing guideline and therefore not mandatory. Please do not revert to the previous title unless there is a consensus to do so among editors discussing the question on this page. BMK (talk) 04:20, 27 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose - The actual title of the film, as decided by the film's creators should always take precedence over house style. It is arrogant in the extreme to do otherwise. Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:14, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
