The numbers on the article need to be updated. Indian does not report its shale reserves anywhere.

Hello, I'll take this review if there are no more objections. I'll start by noting I haven't had any involvement in creating or editing this article. LT90001 (talk) 02:06, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to note at the outset that there have been two previous reviews and that this has been renominated straight away. Although the reviews were cursory in nature, there are some grammatical concerns that impact on readability that do need to be addressed. However, it's clear there has been a lot of work on this article. I'll note some concerns and then after they have been addressed continue the review:

  • Unless a word is a proper noun, it doesn't need to be capitalised in the middle of a sentence. This happens all over the place and was noted in GA1.
  • Tags such as usually go at the start of each section, rather than the end.
  • The lede needs to be expanded to better summarise the content of the article
  • This article doesn't talk about water or directly mention rare earths, which are important natural resources
  • This article also doesn't talk about over-consumption or resource depletion, which are important concerns that are tangentially noted.
  • It would be more consistent to name this article Natural resources of India   I have made the move

I hope this helps. I will continue the review when these have been addressed. Kind regards, LT90001 (talk) 02:21, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

With no response in 12 days and no significant contributions by the nominator since August 22, I've closed this review. I encourage nomination when and only when the above criteria have been dealt with. This article has been refused nomination three times, and some issues must be dealt with if it is to be promoted.
