The Capital Market (Equities) segment of the NSE commenced operations in November 1994, while operations in the Derivatives segment commenced in June 2000. In addition to these segments, the NSE also operates in the Currency Derivatives and Debt segments.

The Biggest Stock Exchange of India

This article says that NSEI is the biggest, but BSE's says that BSE is the biggest, can anyone solve the problem? -Sitenl (talk) 22:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Checking most of this year's data and last year's, NSE has been consistently (although very very slightly) smaller, in terms of market cap, than BSE. C xong (talk) 04:49, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

I think NSE is biggest in term of number of listing and BSE is biggest on market cap. 06:26, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
