notice of requested move edit

There is a request to move NLF (disambiguation) to NLF. The page NLF would no longer redirect to Viet Cong. See Talk:NLF.

Notable entries edit

As far as I can tell, there are four groups that are both notable and actually referred to as "National Liberation Front":

National Liberation Front of South Vietnam (Vietcong)
National Liberation Front (Greece) -- more commonly referred to as EAM, a Greek abbreviation
National Liberation Front (Algeria) -- more commonly referred to as FLN, a French abbreviation
National Liberation Front (Yemen)

If you Google "National Liberation Front", you'll find that this phrase is associated almost exclusively with the Vietcong. There are also embedded hits like the "Moro National Liberation Front" (MNLF) or the "National Liberation Front of Tripura" (NLFT). But these groups are never referred to as simply "National Liberation Front" without the national name attached. "What links here" gives a significant number of links for both the Vietnamese and Algerian groups. Kauffner (talk) 05:53, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
