Talk:National Front (Iran)

incomplete edit

Just noting: the page in the "The Mossadegh Era (1949-1953)" says, "Prior to the coup, the National Front was made up of four main parties;" then the page lists 3 of them. (the Iran Party, the Toilers Party of the Iranian Nation and the Mojâhedine Eslâm). I'm not a historian on this topic -- but someone should who is, should add the fourth party, it's very weird/incomplete without it. 73.222.116.94 (talk) 12:36, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

vandalism edit

Reversed some vandalism to page by a person called "shahin rah", who has deleted/defaced extensively several pages of opponents to Iranian govt. Please be on alert to correct these changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FreeIran2010 (talkcontribs) 02:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

objectivity edit

this article is truly unobjective!

Middle class supporters edit edit

This edit (deleting the adjective "middle class") http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=National_Front_%28Iran%29&diff=278707845&oldid=277926062

by kneejuan claims "removing subjective biased wording" in the edit summary. The description is that of a notable historican. It's no more subjective than anything else in the article. --BoogaLouie (talk) 18:59, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

We can not classify a political party or movement with projective terminology, because of the opinion of one author. No other political party on Wikipedia is classified by "class". --KneeJuan (talk) 01:18, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Any description can be called "an opinion". Why aren't "Nationalist, Liberal, and Social-Democratic" - other descriptions of the party - also "opinions"? This is the judgment of a reputable notable scholar.
There are many political parties in many countries with a base of support in one social class or another - middle class, working class, peasant, whatever. As for No other political party on Wikipedia is classified by "class", there are at least a couple of parties called middle class parites - Middle Class Party of Netherlands, Reichspartei des deutschen Mittelstandes of germany and no doubt others with articles in wikipedia --BoogaLouie (talk) 21:51, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just a comment under the picture of Mossadegh it is stated that he was the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran. This is untrue before him was a slew of Prime Ministers that were elected in the same fashion. This incorrect has to be fixed. 213.185.224.44 (talk) 15:58, 29 August 2010 (UTC)EliasReply
