Coordinate error edit

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for [[1]] page in the MAP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:India_Karnataka_location_map.svg ,.

Even though the coordinate values are correct, the RED DOT representing Nanjangud in the MAP is at a wrong place. Nanjangud is wrongly marked in Mandya District instead of Mysore District.

Please check the image at http://www.mysore.nic.in/photographs/mys_dist_taluks2.jpg which shows the location of Nanjangud in Mysore District and correct the placement of the RED DOT marking Nanjangud.

I'm deactivating the {{geodata-check}} template, since this doesn't really involve incorrect coordinates in the article. I've posted about the problem (which involves more articles than just this one) at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Geographical coordinates#Locator map problem, and it is to be hoped that someone there, more adept at such matters, can determine what the underlying problem is. I'll post any updates here. Deor (talk) 16:25, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
After a bit of help at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical), I was able to make an adjustment to Template:Location map India Karnataka (the underlying template for the map) that has fixed the problem. Thank you, Kslokesh, for pointing this out. Deor (talk) 17:31, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
