Moved from article until all the original research and claims can be verified by external sources:

"The theme of NYX was far different than many Marvel comics, as it circled more of the dramatic and violent genre. It was praised for its street feel; the ghetto, hard gore, drug use, gangs, prostitutes, racism, urban life, single moms, drug dealing kids, pimp beatings, homeless kids, raves, etc. Not only that but it had a film-like quality to it, almost like Sin City (comics) Sin City. It was obvious that NYX was not for the young generation that would usually read Marvel, which is why the series was cancelled."

There are also some weasel words there that should be removed... --Fritz S. (Talk) 22:20, 9 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Laura(X-23) was a prostitute only in this comic, not appearing like that in any other comic or TV series, and stopped to be one in the end of the same story, showing that she was gaining some conscience after the others stories in which she killed her mother and before she find her relatives and enter the x-men. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.92.155.60 (talk) 13:13, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
