Contradictory information contained on the Steinheim Crater page (August 2021)

See:- Steinheim crater The link between this event and Nördlinger Ries event is stated as true on the Nördlinger Ries page and as false on the Steinheim page. The Steinheim page seems better evidenced. Is there anyone watching who can make an informed correction?

Thanks for reporting this. I have added a "contradictory" tag to highlight this in the Nördlinger Ries article's text (until this article's text is more thoroughly updated). GeoWriter (talk) 21:05, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

I have made a first attempt to resolve the contradiction by making a few changes to the Steinheim crater article and then copy/pasting that text into the Nördlinger Ries article. GeoWriter (talk) 21:44, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

Apollo training

The article states that the Apollo 14 astronauts visited the crater for training. I believe most of them went there and will try to find a reference for it. Jstuby (talk) 21:09, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
