Pax Created a Paradox edit

In the beginning, Pax finds Elizabeth's book in 3127 called "Forbidden Love". When we see Elizabeth back in 2011, she is already giving out this book. When Pax meets her, he finds out she is engaged to Richard, who a year ago, saved her hat. During the course of 48 hours, Elizabeth and Pax fall in love although she is engaged. Right before he returns to 3127, he asks her to return with him but she says no. Having a hard time dealing with his loss, he decides to go back to 2010 to save Elizabeth's hat instead of Richard. After doing so, they go out to lunch and the movie ends.
Pax's trip to 2010 changes the events in 2011. If he stayed in 2010, is this where Elizabeth gets her idea for her book? If so, where did the idea in the original history come from? Would he even have made that trip to 2011? Either way, he wouldn't even know about the engagement to change it in 2010. Since Elizabeth never met Richard, Pax would not have all the love trouble with her in 2011. Would Elizabeth have returned to 3127 with Pax? That may have also altered his trip to 2010.
The better solution to Pax's broken heart would have been to travel back to 2011 shortly after he left and win her heart for good. This could have led to a sequel where Elizabeth and Pax show the people of the future the meaning of love. Jeanlovecomputers (talk) 23:50, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
