I strongly oppose deleting this article. Even though Muse Magazine is quite new, it is getting more and more popular in Hong Kong. Can anyone tell me what should I do to prevent this article from being deleted?

  • Normally you want 3rd party coverage, like links from other publications discussing the magazine. Local newspapers reviewing it, etc. Needs Reliable Sources indicating it is notable. Pharmboy (talk) 13:55, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • I am adding more sources to it. do you think it's ok now?
As a side note, it is helpful if at least one reference discussing the mag is in english, since we are the english version, although that isn't a requirement per se. Pharmboy (talk) 13:58, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
finding one... hold on... Germanomaniac (talk) 14:02, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
It isn't up to me, I am just an editor like you and tagged it. It is up to an admin, who will likely wait a while to give you ample opportunity to fix it since he can see the conversation here and see a good faith effort to comply with the "must assert notability" requirement. the link you gave is broken. An admin rm the tag for other reasons ( I used wrong tag for this type of article) and suggested AFD. If you can fix the link that leads to a local review, I would guess it passes the test, at least in my eyes. Pharmboy (talk) 14:13, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

i've tried it but it links perfectly fine for me... Germanomaniac (talk) 14:23, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Might be because I fixed the links ;) Check the history and summaries. You added / after all the links. Pharmboy (talk) 15:22, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, now i understand why... i added a slash after each url... will make sure that i dont do it in future... anyway, thanks for fixing the links!!Germanomaniac (talk) 16:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Magazine closing edit

Subscribers got notices saying that they would be getting their last issues in December and getting refunds on subscription money, so it's very likely Muse is closing soon. However, I think it was important enough a publication to keep a Wiki page up, so long as we are clear in the text that this was a former publication. I'll come back at the end of Dec, to see if magazine really is closed or not. (Technically, it's still open now) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pumpkin888 (talkcontribs) 18:33, 1 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have the last print edition in hand with a letter from the editor saying it is the last issue. I also got a letter from then a while ago announcing its closure. However (oddly) they have not posted news of this closure online yet. As soon as they do, I'll put in an e-link. Pumpkin888 (talk) 16:30, 20 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
There were Chinese columnists writing about the closure of Muse a while ago. If there are no English sources perhaps it's good to add some Chinese in. Germanomaniac (talk) 09:32, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
