Map Changes Needed edit

The Varna Lake is not included in the map and therefore it is really hard to recognize the municipalities. And it will be nice if you color them :) (82.199.193.217 21:21, 2 June 2007 (UTC)yavor)Reply

Number of municipalities edit

Is BG divided into 260 municipalities as the article says? It looks like the list got some extra municipalities, or am I wrong? Ooo86 (talk) 16:55, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wrong number of municipalities edit

Since when do the districts of the Sofia Municipality count as separate municipalities? If they are separate municipalities, the districts in Varna and Plovdiv should be counted as separate municipalities, as well. But they are not municipalities and neither are the districts of the Sofia Municipality. They have mayors who respond directly to the mayor of the Sofia Municipality, have a very limited budget and responsibilities and their functions are directly comparable to the functions of the mayors of the villages in any other municipality in the country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.90.25.146 (talk) 09:21, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

So I have corrected that. If necessary, the districts of Sofia can be added at the bottom of the page together with the city districts of Plovdiv and Varna. However, these are NOT separate municipalities!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.90.25.146 (talk) 09:25, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Article set completed edit

I think I may have completed the article set. At least I am not aware of any red link to a Bulgarian municipality. If there is any municipality that has no article in the English Wikipedia please tell or create. Androoox (talk) 09:29, 16 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Naseleni mesta edit

I'm unclear of something. Are Naseleni mesta (settlements) municipal governments, themselves, or something simply used for statistics? Are they statutory administrative subdivisions like the municipalities, or optional municipal authorities which can be formed within the administative municipalities? --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:27, 2 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
