Criticism, NPOV edit

I think the criticism section needs citations (e.g. from car reviewers) for the opinions expressed, as well as counterarguments. 18.96.2.82 (talk) 03:29, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Original research edit

I agree with the above and wish to add...

Of the four sources cited (that apparently support the entire article), two lead to 404 messages and the other two do not lead to information about the subject - they are generic Audi UK model range entry pages that don't even provide a link to MMI information. In the article's current state, no verifiable sources are cited.

Statements like "...thus minimizing the vast array of buttons and dials normally found on a dashboard." absolutely need citations. That statement may not be wrong, but without citations from reliable and preferably non-Audi sources, it's the editor's opinion and thus original research that does not belong in Wikipedia. Suppliers of updated maps edit

Can someone please provide details of who supplies updated map DVDs - ie, are they only available from Audi dealers, or can they be purchased from independent retailers such as NavShop.com ??? 78.32.143.113 (talk) 08:24, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Audi logo.png edit

The image Image:Audi logo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Not all 3G+ had 4 buttons? Some had 8 edit

The comment under the 3G+ section which states 'number of function buttons reduced from 8 to 4' might be in error. For example, the B8 S4 had the 3G+ with the 7 inch screen but it still had 8 buttons (with the joystick) and it was the facelifted B8 which saw the change to 4 buttons.

3G+ and RMC differences edit

Audi RMC system was installed in: Audi A1/S1, A6/S6/RS6 C7, A7/S7/RS7, Q3/RS Q3. I think that for A1 and Q3 it was the only choice and there was no MMI 3G+ option in those models.

Audi is a wonderful car in many ways. Dashboard controls is not one of them. In 5 years and many efforts I still cannot change the time from daylight savings to standard time. And a icon told me to put air in a tire; I did with no problem. But an hour and a half later I cannot find a way to turn the icon off. The problem is due to driving; my car is standing in my driveway. I can see the controls but can't find any meaningful instructions for them. When it comes to setting controls Audi is the most user hostile car I have ever encountered. 72.79.17.62 (talk) 21:12, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Ishmael DottReply
